Join Powell, a leader in Switchgear and E-house manufacturing, in this critical engineering role. You’ll utilize at least 10 years of automation expertise to solve complex challenges and mentor junior staff. Your work will involve designing and testing automation solutions within MV/LV switch gear applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and interpret client specifications for designs
• Develop relay settings and control logic for complex applications
• Design Automatic Transfer Scheme logic for power transitions
• Implement IEC 61850 solutions for digital substations
• Author and execute Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (P. Eng required)
• 10+ years automation experience, 5 years in substation projects
• Proficiency in industrial communication standards
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with HMI, SCADA is a plus
