Reporting to the Manager, Business Operations, the Senior Analyst, Business Operations is accountable for ensuring complete and timely processing as well as support for CDCC Clearing Members in areas such as:

● Margin and collateral processing (cash and securities);

● Clearing Services, Reporting and Analysis;

● Banking and Settlement including Payment Exchange, End of day final settlements with payment processing;

● Customer Support throughout the various clearing cycles.

Key Account abilities:

Act as the point of contact for matters related to Collateral/Clearing/Banking & Settlements to ensure effective and efficientclient supportis provided to all Members;

Maintain Collateral and Concentration Requirements including collecting Collateral to satisfy the Intra-day, End-of-Day, margin calls via securities pledges or cash, handling customers’ timely flow of funds to/from CDCC;

Support Business Operations processing for all products and services made available to Members;

Perform a daily Cash Reconciliation of the various currency accounts with CDCC Settlement Banks;

Ensure timely completion of the daily netting cycles, payment processing and settlements including Payment Exchange and End of Day obligations are met;

Ensure participants/members meet their trade settlement obligations;

Support the Montreal Exchange for new/existing products/listings and client trade/position needs;

Provide guidance and solutions to internal teams and external clients;

Support the Business Continuity Program, Disaster Recovery Program, Default Simulation and other testing exercises;

Interact with internal partners in Technology, Client Services, Risk, as well as internal CDCC teams;

Adhere closely to internal procedures, rules, audit requirements and internal controls verification processes;

Recommend changes to existing processes, services and procedures to ensure excellent customer service, and that we operate in an efficient and effective environment;

Lead and assist with projects and special assignments including system configuration as required;

Support the Team/ Manager, Business Operations, as required.

Must have s:

Post-Secondaryeducationin Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, and/or Accounting is preferred;

Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in the Securities Financial Industry;

Solid experience/knowledge in Operations processes or Securities Accounting in the Securities Financial Industry;

Effective listening, written and verbalcommunication skills;
