Senior Accountant Jobs in Laval at Ebovir
Ebovir is a dynamic start up Canadian-based biotech company. We are mainly focused on supporting our valued customers with viral basic research and novel biopharma therapies against viruses.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team on part-timeéfull time basis in Laval, Quebec with 2 or more years in accounting experience. This position will entail expertise in the full accounting cycle. The primary responsibilities will include:
-Biweekly payroll done via ADP including all related government DAS remittances.
-Filing of GST/QST reports on a quarterly basis.
-Responsible for Accounts Receivable invoicing and collections.
-Responsible for Accounts Payable including entry of vendor invoices and payments.
-Prepare weekly cashflows on a monthly basis.
-Prepare annual budget and forecasting as required.
-Prepare monthly reconciliations for credit card, line of credit, and bank accounts.
-Manage the general ledger including preparation of journal entries and adjustments, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions.
-Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
-Collaborate with senior management and assist in business decision-making by providing financial expertise.
-Provide accounting firm all necessary documentation to issue final annual financial statements and tax returns.
-Assist with external regulatory and government audits by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors.
-Establish best practices for accounting processes.
– HR and administrative tasks.
-Possible other tasks as required, for example assisting of fundraising, IP management.
-Experience with QuickBooks, ADP and Microsoft office software an asset.
– Location: Looking for candidates from Laval and Great Montreal area.
Pay: $25.00-$38.00 per hour
