We’re looking for a Senior Accountant who goes beyond the ledger- someone who brings clarity to complexity and turns financial data into meaningful insight. What You’ll Do
· Lead the month-end and year-end close with accuracy and efficiency
· Turning financial data into insights that support leadership decisions
· Deliver clear, reliable financial statements and reporting
· Identifying smarter, more efficient ways to get things done
· Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards while we scale
· Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash visibility
· In-charge of sale tax filing for multiple provinces & United States
· Prepare year-end packages for external accountant’s tax filing purpose
· Partner cross-functionally across the business
· Drive process improvements and enhance reporting capabilities
· Support audits with confidence and professionalism
What You Bring
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
· CPA designation (completed or in progress preferred)
· 4–6+ years of experience in accounting, ideally in a fast-paced environment
· Strong business acumen and strategic thinking – a builder’s mindset
· Curiosity, accountability, and a solutions-oriented mindset
· Clear communication and negotiation skills and sound professional judgement
· Ability to manage multiple priorities without losing focus
· Confidence collaborating with senior stakeholders
· Strong knowledge of accounting standards and reporting
· Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, etc.)
· Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
· Comfort with change, ambiguity, and evolving priorities
· An initiative-taking, solutions -first mindset
