Oversee the daily operations of the communication/dispatch area.
Assist with hiring, training, coaching and performance management for the Dispatch team.
Work alongside Dispatchers to receive and dispatch emergency calls by telephone and radio.
Receive internal and external telephone calls.
Transfer information to the appropriate person in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
Ensure appropriate and thorough documentation of multi-dispatch calls.

Qualifications:
You!
Individuals enrolled in or a graduate of an Emergency Telecommunications or 911 Communications program or equivalent experience.
Previous experience with multi-line phone systems (an asset).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven leadership skills.
Ability to identify issues and problem solve effectively.
Availability that includes working flexible shifts on weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
