Job Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.
Duties
- Monitor the shelter premises through CCTV surveillance to ensure safety and security.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify and address potential security issues.
- Enforce shelter policies and procedures to prevent loss prevention and maintain order.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including conflicts or safety hazards.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations.
- Assist with access control by verifying identities and managing entry points.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Ensure that all surveillance equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, surveillance, or loss prevention is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify suspicious behavior or safety concerns.
- Excellent communication skills for effective reporting and conflict resolution.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Must be reliable, responsible, and committed to maintaining a safe environment.

- 8am to 4pm
- 4pm to 12am
- 12am to 8am
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
