Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks.
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the premises continuously.
- Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and employees before granting access, maintaining detailed logs of all entries and exits.
- Respond promptly to alarms or suspicious activity by assessing the situation and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary.
- Enforce security policies and procedures diligently while managing conflicts with professionalism and calmness.
- Perform safety checks, including first aid assessments and CPR if needed, to assist injured individuals or address medical emergencies.
- Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately for future reference and audits.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security or law enforcement is highly desirable; military background is a plus.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV technology and loss prevention techniques.
- Certifications in first aid, CPR, or conflict management are preferred; ongoing training is encouraged.
- Ability to remain alert during long shifts while standing or walking for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle stressful situations effectively.
