Basic Requirements

Secondary School Graduate;

1 to 2 years previous secretarial experience in a health care/medical environment;

Organizational and time-management skills required to provide support to the program;

Written and verbal communication skills required to interact/communicate with medical staff, patients, interdisciplinary health care staff;

Basic knowledge Health Information Systems;

Keyboarding to 45 wpm;

Medical Terminology;

Intermediate Word;

Basic Excel;

IProcurement, Outlook skills;

Windows applications;

Proficiency in English and French – oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).

Language proficiency requirements are based on the nature of the position and the level of interaction with French and English-speaking clients.
