About the Role: Are you active, detail-oriented, and love the Haliburton lifestyle? Kacaba Cottage Care (KCC) is looking for Seasonal Cottage Care Associate to join our team for the upcoming 2026 season.
We aren’t just "cleaners"—we are the team that makes cottage life stress-free for our clients. We handle the heavy lifting and the fine details so families can focus on making memories. What You Will Do: You will work alongside a Team Lead (or independently as you advance) to deliver 5-star standards to luxury properties. No two days are the same, but your core responsibilities will include:
- The "Wow" Factor: Interior detailing, including vacuuming, dusting, kitchen sanitization, and making beds to hotel standards.
- The Deep Clean: Thoroughly cleaning bathrooms, floors, and windows to ensure the property is pristine.
- Exterior Care & Grounds: Sweeping decks, removing cobwebs, cleaning outdoor furniture, and tidying firepits.
- Equipment Operation: Comfortably operating standard lawn and garden tools (trimmers, blowers, etc.) to maintain property aesthetics.
- Logistics: Navigating diverse cottage terrain (stairs, docks, and slopes) with supplies.
Who We Are Looking For:
- The Eye for Detail: You spot the crumb under the table or the streak on the mirror.
- The Stamina: You are physically fit, comfortable lifting supplies (up to 30lbs), climbing stairs, and being on your feet for the day.
- The Attitude: You are reliable, trustworthy, and "coachable." You receive feedback well and are eager to learn our specific methods to deliver the best result.
- The Commute: You must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to job sites or team meeting points.
Requirements:
- Must be able to submit a clear Criminal Record Check prior to starting field work.
- Available for the Spring/Summer season (Start dates are flexible for students, but commitment to the end of the season is expected).
- Previous cleaning, landscaping, or hospitality experience is a plus, but we train the right attitude!
