Our client is a Crown corporation providing specialized and personalized financial services to farming operations. Our client offers financing, insurance, software, learning programs, and other business services to producers, agribusiness owners and agri-food entrepreneurs across the country.
Responsibilities:
Scrum Master for 1-2 teams
Remove impediments for the Team and the Product Owner
Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies and related workshops
Reinforcing Scrum practices
Supporting information management of the planning and completed work
Process Management and Improvement – collaborate with other Scrum Masters and champion on-going process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile and Scrum Master role
Team Building – Ensuring a good working relationship between team members, promote empowerment of the team, ensuring that each team member is fully engaged in their work and in the project.
Requirements:
Required Experience
In-depth knowledge of Agile principles, Scrum and Kanban frameworks and techniques as well as the ability to mentor others in their application of Agile and Scrum
Utilize corporate objectives and priorities to ensure teams are working on the right piece of work
Analyze and resolve a wide range of impediments that are strategic, organizational or technical in nature
Minimum five years of business experience
Scrum Master certification would be an asset
Current or previous Scrum Master experience is required
Experience supporting multiple teams is an asset
