Role Overview
Bough Biosciences is a dynamic new biotech start-up, we are looking for a Scientist who is excited to join the team and contribute to innovative biology. Our goal is to develop a novel class of medicines which target senescent cells. We are actively seeking a skilled and motivated scientist with expertise in cell biology to join our team. As one of our first employees, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our research and contribute to the success of our innovative projects.
Core Responsibilities
Carry out cell biology experiments as part of our technology development.
Develop and implement new techniques for the study of senescent cells.
Plan, execute, and analyze experiments.
Collaborate with researchers and other team members to interpret and communicate results effectively.
Oversee day to day operations of the lab.
Required Qualifications
PhD in Cell Biology or related field, or MS in Cell Biology or related field (2+ years experience).
Hands-on experience with cell culture techniques.
Experience with cellular models of the brain.
Experience with qPCR, and imaging techniques is a must.
The ability to work independently.
