Quinn Construction Ltd. Reference Number: 25439 Jardeg is recruiting a Journeyperson Scaffolder to join the esteemed team at CNRL Wolf Lake near Bonnyville, Alberta.
CNRL Wolf Lake is an In-Situ Thermal site, and you’ll enjoy a well-structured 7-days-on and 7-days-off rotation, with 11-hour workdays, complete with three 15-minute breaks (10am/12 noon/3pm – two paid and one unpaid) and 5% RRSP This permanent full-time position is available for an immediate start. Position Requirements
Registered Journeyperson OR Apprentice scaffolder or hours equivalent. Must possess and maintain a valid Alberta Drivers’ License and meet requirements of Quinn Approved Driver Program
Able to
meet conditions outlined on the Physical Demands Analysis Achieve 100% completion of mandatory Quinn and client training Pre-access Drug & Alcohol test Training
Required:
CSTS 2020, H2S Alive, OSSA Confined Space Entry, OSSA Fall Arrest, CSO, AWP Position Description Safely erect, maintain, repair, and modify all types of industrial scaffolding with minimal supervision (i.e. towers, cantilevers, hanging scaffolds) Estimate scaffolding jobs effectively Identify ideal type of scaffolding material to use for the job (i.e. frame, tube & clamp, system) Receive permits for required tasks (i.e. pending qualification as a permit receiver) and complete all scaffolding checklists prior to builds Effectively communicate scope of work to scaffolding crews Review Site Safe Work Procedures associated with the job prior to task execution Manage and maintain an inventory of current scaffold material.
Participate in pre-job toolbox meetings and conduct Pre-Task Analysis to identify potential hazards and measures to eliminate or minimize them Correct unsafe acts and bring unsafe conditions to the attention of immediate supervisor Work within a multi trade environment Maintain relations with client and co-workers through effective interpersonal and
communication skills
Position
Qualifications:
Certified Journeyperson and/or holds a valid recognized credential OR active Scaffolder apprenticeship in good standing or Proof of Scaffolder hours. H2S Alive Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or CSTS-09 CSTS 2020 Certified Confined Space Certified Fall Arrest and/or Fall Protection Valid Driver’s Licence COME AND GET YOUR BOOTS DIRTY With a significant presence in the construction, industrial maintenance, and turnaround sectors, Jardeg is the largest recruiter of
