We are seeking the right individual to fulfill a position,
in our Winnipeg office, as a:
SANITATION TECHNICIAN

We have an immediate opening for a full-time sanitation technician.
Responsibilities:
· General cleaning of the warehouse: dusting, mopping, vacuuming, etc.
· Operating floor cleaners
· Working with cleaning chemicals and supplies
· Maintenance of refrigerated coolers
· Minor repairs and painting
· Good housekeeping
· Can perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks
· Perform and document routine inspections and maintenance activities
· Perform all job duties in a safe manner that complies with safety requirements, including OH&S policies and procedures
Requires willingness to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Qualifications:
· Previous sanitation experience is required
· Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards would be an asset
· Previous power tool experience is required
· Ability to follow directions and work instructions
· Repetitive motion required on a daily basis and may include bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, squatting, and lifting
· Ability to deal with people in a positive and constructive manner
· Highly organized; knowledgeable and follows the company’s policies and procedures
