Central City Brewers and Distillers is a craft brewery in the business of developing and selling international award-winning premium craft beer and high-quality distilled spirits brewed without compromise. Based in Surrey, British Columbia, CCBD was voted Canada Best Brewery of the Year in 2010 and 2012. Its Red Racer brand has become a cult icon among craft beer enthusiasts throughout North America. Founded in 2003 as a brewpub and liquor store in downtown Surrey, CCBD celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2013 with the grand opening of a brand new, 68,000 sq. ft. brewery and distillery on Bridgeview Drive. In 2019 we opened a 40,000 sq. ft. storage facility with approximately 2000 barrels of whiskey aging in this facility. We are proud of being a local-Canadian Brewery that is currently expanding. In 2021 the company completed the installation of a new canning line designated for contract manufacturing.
JOB SUMMARY
The Sanitation worker will be responsible for keeping the facility clean, always following the protocols and procedures of sanitation of the company. This position reports to the Production Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Works safety and must be aware of surroundings
Sanitizes Production clean rooms and controlled environments in accordance with procedures
Sanitizes and cleans Laboratory areas (QC Lab), and sterility suites
Sanitizes and scrubs machines, tables, counters, trash containers, component bins, and conveyors
Mops and scrubs floors, doors, walls and ceilings
Launders gowns, jumpsuits, hoods, shoe covers, towels, mops, Re-packages laundry for laboratories and makes ready for sterilization
Gathers and removes trash from all production areas and laboratories
Completes documentation and records of sanitation
May be responsible for the cleaning & janitorial services to support non-production/office areas
Cleans processing equipment, overhead pipes, and conveyors in both dry and wet processing areas

The ability to successfully work in a team environment with diverse personalities
Must have a safety and quality-conscious work history
Must be able to lift, push and pull over 50 lbs
Proper use of sanitation tools, mops, brooms, squeegees
Must be able to withstand strong food odors and hot temperatures
Good time management skills and ability to multi-task
Ability to follow instructions and procedures
