Responsibilities:
– Prepare sandwiches according to customer preferences and specifications
– Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain consistency
– Handle food safely and adhere to proper food handling procedures
– Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment
– Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
– Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, processing payments, and addressing customer inquiries
– Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
– Follow all food safety regulations and maintain a high standard of cleanliness
Skills:
– Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a sandwich-making role
– Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously
– Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating order totals
– Familiarity with POS systems for order processing
– Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
– Excellent communication and customer service skills
