Sales Representative – Buying & Selling Electronics Jobs in Halifax at PayMore Stores Canada

We also retail new and PayMore certified electronics in our store locations.
We are looking for a fast paced, detail-oriented, tech savvy people person who can quickly identify, test, and price electronics for our customers. As a Secondhand Electronics Buyer you will be great with people, have consumer electronic knowledge, will be able to negotiate fair pricing for new, used, and broken electronics, while fostering relationships with our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and explain our company processes to incoming customers. Build relationships with customers.
- Identify and test a wide range of consumer electronics from our customers.
- Determine pricing for a wide range of electronics from smartphones, tablets, laptops, game systems and more through our software, and referencing additional resources provided.
- Negotiate pricing with our customers, keeping a professional attitude, demeanor and business acumen.
- Close sales and generate intake receipts.
- Manage in-store and online inventory and sales postings.
- Package and ship online orders.
Requirements:
- Must have excellent electronics knowledge and handling of smartphones, tablets, laptops, game systems – e.g. data wiping smartphones, removing iCloud accounts, testing game systems, Windows use, MacOS use, being able to quickly identify, test, and assess a wide variety of consumer electronics while communicating with customers in a high paced environment.
- Must be a people person, ability to befriend, relate, and build relationships with all types of customers. Ability to remain focused in a high volume/fast paced environment – Ability to adapt from customer to customer, situation to situation
- Must be able to type quickly and accurately. Accuracy is paramount as you will be entering in final records of purchase.
- Punctual, “get it done” upbeat attitude, team player, professional demeanor.
- Must be able to follow protocols and procedures.
- Professional appearance.
- Must be well spoken (English).
- Understanding of popular second-hand online auction sites, and the ability to reference/search completed listings of products quickly.
- Sales experience a plus but is not required.
- Must be able to remain on your feet for hours at a time. Ability to lift 25lb items.
