The ideal candidate must be OMVIC licensed and have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a sales manager in the automotive/car dealership industry. Candidate must also have above average computer skills and be familiar with DealerTrack.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and directing the sales and finance team to meet and exceed sales targets while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Manage and direct the sales and finance team to meet and exceed sales targets
Train, motivate and coach sales staff to achieve their goals
Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and profitability
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business
Ensure all customer inquiries are responded to promptly and professionally
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management
Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions
Work closely with the finance and service departments to ensure customer satisfaction
Provide feedback and recommendations to senior management on improving sales processes
Requirements:
Strong leadership and coaching skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions
Knowledge of automotive financing and leasing
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
