We are looking for a Field Sales Engineer, ideally with and a Technical Degree, who is passionate about drivingsales. We are on hyper-growth mode, and we are looking for an SE who wants to make an impact working for agame changing company, that builds a disruptive product with a mission to innovate.
Our environment moves extremely quickly to deliver new products for new customers with a spectrum ofchallenges across industries including manufacturing, energy, and utilities.
Responsibilities
for Sales Engineer:
• Engage daily a variety of customers across industries to discover and understand their challenges and apply oursolutions.
• Become an expert on our industrial products and how best to deploy and adapt them for a variety of customerchallenges
• Experiment with and test new and potential products to understand their advantages, limitations, anddeployment requirements
• Visit customers and install product/equipment in manufacturing spaces while engaging customer stakeholders
Job Qualifications Focus Microwaves is looking for a motivated Junior Engineer or Senior Engineer with a minimum BSEE degree.
The ability to communicate your thoughts, ideas, and point of view is very important in this position and to thelong-term development of your career. You must demonstrate the ability to work closely in teams andunderstand the dynamics of a
team environment
. We are looking for candidates that have demonstratedleadership skills and have the ability to be
dynamic
and persuasive in a professional setting.
This position requires the following skillsets and attributes with an emphasis on technical expertise andcommunication skills.
• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
education
.
• Strong understanding of RF and microwave test and measurement applications.
• Basic understanding of Load Pull and Noise parameter measurements.
• Passion for
continuous learning
in electronics technology and professional selling.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with customers and internal teammates.
• Strong written & verbal
communication skills
.
• Effective presentation and
problem solving
skills.
• Must be a Canadian Citizen.
