What is the main goal for the internship?

increase the number of vendors and B2B brand awareness
improve product selection for our customers

Responsibilities:

To accomplish this, we expect that you will:

Prospect customer out reach, recruitment & on-boarding support
Generating leads
Analyzing and improving business development and recruitment process (ie. social media, website)
Analyzing sales and communications strategies and providing recommendations

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a postsecondary program in business or communication or other relevant discipline
Strong communication and writing skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Proven prospecting skill is considered as an asset
Preference will be shown for those that have prior sales experience

How will you support students in completing the project?

We will provide a dedicated contact who will be available to answer emails and calls over the duration of the project. We will be available to connect and provide feedback as necessary, as well as for information exchange.

Job Type: Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 4 – 8 months

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
