The Sales Development Executive (SDE) is a frontline sales role that involves identifying new opportunities, handling inbound leads, nurturing marketing leads into sales qualified leads, and contributing to the sales pipeline. This role is primarily focused on turning marketing qualified leads into sales qualified leads. The role is office based.

Duties

Create Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).Handle all inbound enquiries.

Prioritise opportunities.

Proactively contact companies who have shown an interest in our products or service, carrying out thorough research.

Categorise potential customers, in line with the Customer Categorisation Model.

Work collaboratively with the New Business Development Manager providing support where required and booking appointments.

Send quotes to customers, and proactively following up in a timely manner.

Ensure all internal systems (CRM & ERP) and databases are updated timely and accurately.

Actively participate in internal and external meetings where attendance is required.

Communications and Working Relationships Your main contacts will include:

Internal:

Market Development Executive.

New Business Development Managers.

Key Accounts Managers.

Technical Service Team.

External:

Potential Customers.

Scope of Impact Depending on the maturity and geographic size of their main entity the SDE role may have a defined area, a designated New Business Development Manager, or be targeted to a specific vertical market (i.e., industry type). (approximately 100 – 200 sites).Core Business
