Michelson’s Shoes is seeking a full-time Sales Associate – Shoe Fitter Trainee to join our team in Needham.

Previous shoe fitting experience is not required. We provide hands-on training and will teach the right candidate how to professionally measure, fit, and recommend footwear for customers of all ages.
Unlike many retail positions, this role involves learning specialized shoe fitting skills and product knowledge that help customers find comfortable footwear for work, school, sports, and everyday life.

What You’ll Do
- Measure and fit customers for footwear.
- Ask questions to understand customer needs and preferences.
- Recommend footwear and accessories that best meet customer needs.
- Learn specialized shoe fitting techniques through hands-on training.
- Build positive relationships with customers of all ages.
- Provide outstanding customer service throughout the shopping experience.
- Maintain knowledge of products, brands, and fitting techniques.
- Help keep the sales floor clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Work with teammates to achieve weekly sales goals.
- Take initiative and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

- Saturday availability is required.
- Must be able to reliably commute to Needham, MA.

Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay $17.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
- Weekly team sales bonuses, once trained.
