Sales and Training Manager (Full-Time)
Calgary, AB
Compensation: $50-$80k+ (base salary $50k with quarterly bonuses based on business growth and profitability)
This role will oversee sales growth, training and development of team members and contributing to our franchise becoming a Top Performer in the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? System. This position requires a leader who understands sales process, values exceptional customer experiences, and can coach others to develop their skills. The successful candidate will have a drive for professional growth in the role with a desire to take on new and expanded roles as the business grows.
About the role:
This role will split time in-office (25%) and out in the field (75%) working alongside with our truck team members and directly coach them in the field.
Lead the growth, training and development of a team of 20-40 front-line sales and customer service Truck Team Members
Lead training sessions in-house and deliver our training programs in the field
Build, lead and certify sales trainers
Continuous development of training content to develop best-in-class salespeople delivering exceptional customer experience
Continuous development of incentive programs to ensure profitable growth for the business and financial motivation for our Truck Team Members
Work with leadership team to continue to develop your own skills as a coach
Contribute to setting goals with the General Manager
Qualifications:
Experience with sales coaching, sales management, and/or small business leadership
Experience in a franchise is a plus but not a requirement
Interest in growth and development – your own and those around you
The desire to grow your skill set to lead a small business
Proficiency in the Google suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets) or similar software
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to travel within Canada and to the US
