Salad Station & Dish Jobs in Freeport, ME at King’s Head Pub Freeport

Seeking a dishwasher that would also be trained on our salad station. On slower days we would need someone capable of helping with salad station during service in addition to dish. Weekend shifts would require a primary focus on dish station duties.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare fresh salad, apps, and desserts. Assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salad station and dish area throughout your shift
  • Ensure all food handling procedures comply with food safety standards and sanitation regulations
  • Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients using proper knife skills
  • Support the kitchen team in food preparation tasks to ensure timely service during busy hours
  • Serve dishes to guests or assist in plating and presentation to enhance visual appeal
  • Follow proper food storage practices and rotate stock to minimize waste and ensure freshness

Requirements

  • Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with food handling regulations and sanitation standards in the food industry
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays as needed

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
