THE POSITION
Keyera is actively seeking a Safety Training Coordinator (Temporary- 12-month term) to become a valuable part of our Training and Learning team in Calgary. In this role, the Training Coordinator will have the important responsibility of maintaining and optimizing our Competency Management and Development System (CMDS). This includes facilitating the development of training programs, guiding users in system utilization, and enhancing the overall efficiency of our training processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and administer the Competency Management and Development System (CMDS).
Assist in testing, troubleshooting, and coordinating all CMDS system updates.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for system functionality improvements and changes.
Provide exceptional customer support to both internal (Keyera) and external (65 companies) users of the training system.
Join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation and continuous improvement of our training and development processes.
Additional Responsibilities:
Manage CMDS requests and inquiries (Internal and External)
CMDS Marketing presentations and demos
Support CMDS End Users and Account Managers
Set up advisory meetings, training synergy meetings and facility annual training reviews.
Check and process Lakeland College Certificate applications.
eLearning and Orientation updates
Work with developer on functionality changes and priorities
Standardize and Streamline Training in CMDS- Work with Safety Learning Team to align Role specific competency profiles and basic assigned resources (CSOP’s, TSSC’s, Operating procedures, SSOP’s, eLearning) across all areas.
Support the Learning Supervisor with ad hoc requests (e.g., prepare presentation material)
Ambassador of Keyera’s Cultural Behaviors, Values, Accountability Framework, and someone that is truly passionate about making these attributes of Keyera foundational.
Partner and collaborate with Assurance, Health and Safety and Process Safety Teams to synergize efforts and support Learning processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will be well-organized, energetic, and service oriented with the following qualifications:
Post-secondary education in a relevant field or 5+ years in a coordinator role.
2+ years of experience in Oil and Gas, specifically in midstream roles encompassing customer service, training, and health and safety an asset.
Strong analytical, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in computer systems.
Exceptional attention to detail with a positive, solutions-focused approach.
Experience in PowerBI reporting and familiarity with CMDS is a plus.
Advanced computer skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Effective multitasker with a track record of meeting deadlines.
