Major Responsibilities:
Completes assigned rooms during shift, including check outs and stay overs. Reports any delays in completing assigned rooms as soon as aware.
Vacuuming carpets and sweeping floors
Washing / steaming floors
Dusting, brushing, polishing and vacuuming furniture
Dusting and cleaning room decorations, appliances and structural surfaces (e.g. wall fixtures, window sills, vents)
Changing linen and making beds, checking for damaged or stained linen
Cleaning showers, tubs, sinks and bathroom items
Ensures proper guest supplies, amenities, and advertising are in the rooms.
Ensures the security of keys and guest information, as well as individual safety while cleaning.
Ensures guest requests are met by either fulfilling the request or reporting it to a leader.
Consistently ensures room cleanliness meets Hilton standards.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required:
Must be extremely fit as the position is very physical
Energetic and flexible, able to work under pressure
Excellent communication skills
Self-motivated, honest, creative, capable of working in a team environment
Experience, Training and Education (demonstrating requirements):
Minimum one year hotel cleaning experience is preferred.
Previous customer service experience is an asset
WHMIS training
