Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shingler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing and construction, with a strong understanding of various roofing materials and techniques. As a Shingler, you will be responsible for installing shingles on residential and commercial roofs, ensuring durability and quality while adhering to safety standards.
Duties
- Install shingles according to manufacturer specifications and blueprints.
- Perform heavy lifting and carry materials to the worksite.
- Utilize hand tools effectively, including hammers, nail guns, and caulking tools.
- Ensure proper alignment and sealing of shingles to prevent leaks.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Shingler or in a related maintenance person or construction role.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading for accurate installation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job.
- Skills in carpentry and building structures are a plus.
- Experience with caulking techniques for sealing edges and joints is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

- Roofing: 10 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
