Roller Operator Jobs in Brockway, MT at Riverside Contracting
Riverside Contracting Inc. is seeking a roller operator for support with road construction projects across Montana and Wyoming, This position is responsible for operating vibratory and pneumatic rollers to compact asphalt, gravel, soil, and other materials on heavy highway and civil construction projects throughout Montana and Wyoming. You’ll play an important role in maintaining safe operations, completing daily equipment checks, and working alongside a strong team to keep projects moving forward.
Location: Extensive travel is required. Work locations will change as the season progresses.
Job Type: Full-time, Seasonal
Qualifications:
- Experience with road construction, grading, asphalt, or dirt work preferred, but not required
- Ability to read grade stakes and follow direction from supervisors.
- Understanding of proper compaction techniques.
- Ability to work long hours, overtime, and travel as projects require.
- Ability to work flexible or extended hours depending on weather and project schedules
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, climb, and operate equipment for extended periods
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Responsibilities:
· Operate vibratory, pneumatic, and static rollers safely and efficiently.
· Achieve proper compaction according to project specifications.
· Work closely with grading, paving, and earthwork crews.
· Perform daily equipment inspections and complete required documentation.
· Identify and report equipment maintenance needs.
· Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety policies.
· Assist with other construction duties as needed when roller operation is not required.
· Work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Pay: $38.00 – $40.00 per hour
