Job Description
Zunex Pest Control is looking for a motivated Rodent Vulnerability Inspector / Residential Sales Representative to inspect residential homes for rodent entry points, attic contamination, insulation damage, and exclusion opportunities.
This position is a mix of home inspections, customer education, and sales. You will be inspecting homes for rodent vulnerabilities and presenting homeowners with solutions such as rodent exclusion, sealing entry points, insulation removal, attic sanitation, and insulation re-installation.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is comfortable talking with homeowners, can explain problems clearly, and wants to earn commission on high-ticket home service jobs.
Responsibilities
- Inspect residential homes for rodent entry points and vulnerabilities
- Check attics, crawl spaces, garages, exterior foundations, rooflines, vents, utility penetrations, and other common rodent access areas
- Identify signs of rodent activity, insulation damage, contamination, nesting, and droppings
- Take photos and document findings clearly
- Explain inspection findings to homeowners in a professional and easy-to-understand way
- Sell rodent exclusion, insulation removal, sanitation, and insulation re-installation services
- Provide estimates and recommendations based on the home’s needs
- Follow up with customers when needed
- Represent Zunex Pest Control with honesty, professionalism, and strong customer service
What We’re Looking For
- Sales experience required
- Pest control, construction, roofing, insulation, or home service experience is a plus
- Comfortable inspecting attics, crawl spaces, and the exterior of homes
- Not afraid of tight spaces, ladders, insulation, or dirty environments
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build trust with homeowners
- Self-motivated and reliable
- Detail-oriented and able to spot small entry points or home vulnerabilities
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to take photos and use a phone/tablet for job notes and estimates
Pay
- $15-20/hour base pay w-2 employee
- 10% commission on sold jobs
Unlimited sales Potential, For Example:
- 1 – $10k attic job Gross’s you $1k
High-ticket sales opportunities include:
- Rodent exclusion
- Entry point sealing
- Insulation removal
- Attic sanitation
- Insulation re-installation
This position has strong earning potential for someone who can inspect thoroughly, communicate clearly, and close jobs professionally.
Schedule
Schedule may vary depending on customer appointments. Daytime availability is preferred. M-F start time is 8 am at first customer home. Some evenings or Saturdays may be needed depending on demand.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is someone who is hardworking, confident, trustworthy, and comfortable selling home service solutions without being pushy. You should be able to inspect a home, identify real issues, educate the homeowner, and recommend the right solution. Confident in their ability to sell at least $3000 of work a week minimum.
