Our Burnaby Branch, Pediatrics

– Specialty Nursing branch is launching a new Adult Palliative Care Program and we are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our new team in Richmond/Vancouver/North Shore

In this role you will be providing comprehensive, compassionate, end of life care to our palliative clients, as well as support for the family members as they go through this journey with their loved one.

screening of clients and workers, prior to visits, to help prevent exposures to COVID-19.

What you’ll be doing:

Provide clinical assessments and implement their symptom and pain management treatment, while focusing on what matters most to them and their families

You provide a

patient-centered

compassionate nursing care approach while working with their families and with an

interdisciplinary

team.

Job Qualification

Requirements:

Active license with BCCNM

2 years nursing experience

Palliative care in a community setting

Prefer completed LEAP program, Fundamentals of Palliative Care or equivalent

Strong clinical and

ethical practices

, particularly in pain and symptoms management, using evidence- based care
