Join our summer camp in Richmond Hill, Ontario, as a Camp Assistant. Work directly with children with Autism, facilitating activities and providing support in a vibrant camp setting.
This role lasts from June 22nd to August 21st, where you will assist both children and youths in 1:1 and group environments. Collaboration with therapists and participation in engaging activities are at the heart of this position. Ideal candidates are eager to learn about working with kids with special needs and have some experience with Autism.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individual and group support to children with Autism
• Facilitate fun program activities for campers
• Help therapists set up engaging sessions
Requirements:
• Eligible for the Canada Summer Job Program
• Ages 18-36 and enrolled in class or returning in September
• Familiarity with Autism is a plus
• Completion of a Vulnerable Sector check and TB test
• Must have COVID-19 vaccination
