JACK & JONES is looking for a Retail Store Supervisor inOttawa, ON.
Your role will be to lead a team and develop a business in your own unique way.

Key points about the job.
Regularly evaluate, support, train and coach the members of your team on product, styling, selling techniques and operating procedures.
Partner with your District Manager in documenting conversations, creating performance improvement plans and managing corrective action processes.
Develop in-store talent and future leaders by looking internally to promote teammates.
Identify external talent for your store by conducting ongoing recruitment, executing applicant screenings and building a candidate pipeline.
Perform store opening and closing procedures in alignment with company procedures.
Accomplish daily, weekly and monthly operations, ensuring execution within deadlines.
Ensure all products and displays are merchandised effectively to maximize sales and profitability.
What it takes.
At least 2 years of store manager experience.
A minimum of 3 years of retail in-store experience, ideally in the fashion industry.
College degree completion.
Experience in maintaining operational excellence in retail stores (analyzing KPIs, scheduling, inventory management, etc.).
Proven leadership skills in the recruitment and development of talent and mentoring team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken.
Experience with opening new stores, an asset.
Experience in visual merchandising, an asset.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Flexible to work retail hours (standard, peak, and holiday).

Wage range: between $24/h and $28/h
