Job Description
Nickel City Surplus is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team in Greater Sudbury, ON. The ideal candidate is customer service oriented, has a positive attitude, and enjoys working in a fast paced environment.
Essential Functions:
Greet and direct customers to their desired products
Answer customers’ questions about specific products and current promotions
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow basic safety and quality-control procedures
Contribute to a team effort to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely and effective manner
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Must be 16 years of age or older
Previous retail experience preferred but not required.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, managers and customers.
Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: From $16.65 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
