SERVPRO of Longview is looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our team as Restoration Technicians.
This is not a typical cleaning job. Our technicians help homeowners and businesses recover after water damage, fire damage, storms, mold-related concerns, and other unexpected property emergencies.
Every day is different. You may remove damaged materials, extract water, set drying equipment, clean affected areas, move contents, or help prepare a property for restoration. The work can be physically demanding, but it is also rewarding.
No restoration experience is required. We are willing to train candidates who have a strong work ethic, show up on time, follow instructions, and take pride in helping others.

What You Will Do
- Respond to residential and commercial water, fire, and property damage projects
- Load work vehicles with the equipment, products, tools, and supplies needed for each job
- Prepare rooms and work areas before restoration activities begin
- Set up air movers, dehumidifiers, containment barriers, and other restoration equipment
- Perform water extraction, demolition, cleaning, deodorization, and other restoration services as directed
- Move, pack, clean, and protect customers’ belongings when necessary
- Safely operate basic hand tools, power tools, and restoration equipment
- Follow SERVPRO procedures and all safety and risk-management requirements
- Communicate with crew chiefs, supervisors, customers, and other team members
- Document job progress and completed work as required
- Clean and maintain equipment, tools, work vehicles, and warehouse areas
- Complete end-of-day and end-of-job cleanup
- Leave every jobsite clean, organized, and professional

Experience in restoration, construction, demolition, cleaning, maintenance, flooring, moving, warehousing, landscaping, or a related field is helpful, but not required.
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to safely operate basic hand tools and power tools
- Ability to regularly lift and carry at least 50 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, and carry objects for extended periods
- Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
- Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, and other confined areas
- Ability to work around cleaning products, restoration chemicals, dust, odors, and damaged building materials while using required personal protective equipment
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and after-hours assignments when scheduled
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
- Ability to travel locally and occasionally out of town or out of state when required
- Ability to successfully complete a background check, subject to applicable law
Schedule Expectations
This is a full-time position that typically includes:
- Monday through Friday
- 40 or more hours per week
- Overtime as needed
- Rotating on-call responsibilities
- Occasional nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency response assignments
Restoration emergencies do not always happen during regular business hours. Applicants must be willing and able to participate in after-hours and weekend work when scheduled.
Compensation
Starting pay: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability.
Additional earning opportunities may include overtime, merit-based increases, certifications, expanded responsibilities, and advancement within the company.
