We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent service to our guests and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. Responsibilities:
– Greet guests and escort them to their tables
– Present menus and provide detailed information about the dishes and beverages
– Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
– Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of meals
– Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner
– Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction with their meals
– Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally
– Process guest payments using POS system and handle cash transactions accurately
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and condiment stations
– Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Skills:
– Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
– Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and payment handling
– Strong cash handling skills with the ability to accurately calculate bills and make change
– Knowledge of basic math for calculating tips and splitting bills among guests
– Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations
– Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
