Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Restaurant Manager to lead dining services within our senior living community. This role is responsible for overseeing daily dining room operations, ensuring high-quality food service, and creating a welcoming, hospitality-driven dining experience for residents and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the dining room, kitchen coordination, and service staff
- Ensure exceptional customer service tailored to senior residents’ needs and preferences
- Supervise, train, and schedule dining staff
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Address resident feedback and continuously improve dining experience
- Foster a warm, respectful, and engaging dining environment
Qualifications
- 3+ years of restaurant or dining management experience (healthcare or senior living preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Experience working with special dietary needs (e.g., low sodium, diabetic-friendly diets) is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Passion for hospitality and serving senior populations
