**Job Title:** Japanese Restaurant Manager
**Location:** Winnipeg Manitoba
**Job Description:**
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Japanese Restaurant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a Manitoba food handler certification and possess the qualities that make them a smart choice for a manager.
**Responsibilities:**
– Operate and manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant with efficiency and expertise.
– Oversee and coordinate all activities in the restaurant to ensure smooth operations.
– Utilize your experience in managing stock to maintain proper inventory levels and control costs effectively.
– Create seasonal specialty menus and drinks to attract and retain customers.
– Manage shifts effectively to ensure optimal staffing and customer service.
– Lead the hiring and training process to develop a skilled and motivated team.
**Qualifications:**
– More than 1 year of experience in operating and managing a restaurant, preferably in a Japanese cuisine setting.
– Previous experience working as a Japanese restaurant chef or sous chef for at least 1 year.
– Demonstrated ability to make strategic decisions to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
– Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively lead and motivate a team.
– Manitoba food handler certification is required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
