Full job description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant General Manager to oversee our restaurant operation and lead our team to continued success. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall performance of the restaurant, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, controlling costs and maximizing profitability.

Job responsibilities:

– Lead and inspire a team of dedicated professionals, including managers, servers, server assistants, hosts, chefs and bartenders to deliver exceptional service and exceed guest expectations.

– Supervise and coordinate all aspects of the operations with focus on service and collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain high-quality food standards.

– Develop and implement operational procedures and processes to optimize efficiency and productivity.

– Oversee inventory, order supplies and manage stock to minimize wastage and control costs

– Train, supervise, and motivate staff to provide exceptional service.

– Manage budgets and optimize expenses to maximize revenue.

– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

– Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

– Implement strategies to meet sales targets and enhance profitability.

– Foster a positive work environment based on teamwork, open communication, and mutual respect, promoting employee engagement and retention.

Requirements:

– Proven experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry.

– Minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant management, with a proven track record of success in a high-volume environment.

– Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to deliver outstanding performance.

– Strong knowledge of service, training, and POS systems.

– Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training restaurant staff.

– Excellent team management skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.

– Knowledge of food handling procedures and health regulations.

– Sound financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, with a results-oriented mindset.

– Knowledge of industry best practices, food safety regulations, and current trends in the restaurant industry.

– Proficiency in restaurant management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant technology.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
