Duties
- Lead and supervise all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management
- Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food costs to maximize profitability
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations through regular training and inspections
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and sales processing
- Train, develop, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining high performance standards
- Coordinate shift schedules, monitor staff performance, and handle interviewing and onboarding of new team members
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and dining area while supervising food production processes including catering, banquets, and quick-service operations
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty
- Assist in budgeting efforts, monitor operational expenses, and implement strategies for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within the food industry, preferably in casual dining or fast food restaurants with quick service environments
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions and inventory tracking
- Demonstrated supervising experience with a focus on staff training & development in hospitality settings
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and sanitation standards
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment
- Experience in budgeting, cost control, and operational planning within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Prior experience in fine dining or hotel food service is a plus but not required; casual dining experience is highly valued
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
