Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Residential Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and organization of private home. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent cleaning skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. Must have professional references, Background check and clean NYS drivers license.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas
- Conduct floor care such as vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning to ensure surfaces are spotless
- Handle laundry tasks including washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
- Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces and ensuring hygiene protocols are followed
- Prepare light meals or snacks as needed, utilizing basic cooking skills
- Manage household supplies inventory and notify clients when restocking is necessary
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client requests professionally and courteously
- Assist with custodial tasks such as trash removal and organizing cluttered areas
- Follow safety guidelines related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning
- Skills in floor care, carpet cleaning, sanitation, and laundry operations
- Ability to perform cleaning duties efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks effectively
- A positive attitude, reliability, and discretion are essential for success in this role
Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
