Location: 22562 Fisher Road Watertown NY 13601
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Thursday (4x 10-hour days)
Position Summary:
We are looking to keep adding to our growing team and in this position, you will go into residential homes that are up to 2.5 hr radius from Watertown (home every night) and install upgrades such as insulation (blown in, spray foam, foamboard, batts), bath fans, ventilation, fix electrical wiring, windows/doors, sheetrock repair, duct repair, and other residential upgrades. Work is year round and consistent with pay-for-performance bonuses after the first year. This is a great opportunity to challenge your skills on homes from new construction to 200 year old homes or to learn these skills to be able to use on your own home.
Job Summary:
Work will include, but is not limited to:
- Insulation- Install blown-in and spray foam insulation
- Ventilation upgrades: Bath fan replacement, gable, soffit, ridge vent ventilation
- Carpentry: Framing walls, finish work for attic hatch’s, windows, molding
- Electrical: Wiring outlets, appliances, and troubleshoot circuits
- HVAC: Repair/replace furnaces and ducts
- Plumbing: Repair/replace water heaters and run new water lines
- Window and Door: Repair and replace windows and doors
This individual will work under the direction of the Crew Supervisor to meet deadlines and adhere to necessary standards.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs regularly and at times 50+ lbs
- Work in tight spaces (such as attics and crawlspaces) and varying weather conditions as this is a year round position (i.e. heat, cold, rain, snow)
- Ability to work 8-12 hours per day
- Stand for prolonged periods
- Climb and work from ladders
- Be able to kneel, crawl, push and pull
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to learn and grow with the company
