NSB Omega is searching for a Reservoir/Simulation Engineer for our Oil & Gas Client in St. John's, NL.
Qualifications Required
- 10+ years of engineering experience in oil and gas; minimum 5 years in reservoir engineering.
- Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, geology, petrophysics, and thermodynamics.
- Experience in field development planning, depletion strategies, well placement, and secondary recovery.
- Proficiency in Eclipse, Intersect, Petrel.
- Experience in production forecasting and reserves determination.
- Ability to build, maintain, and history-match dynamic reservoir simulation models.
- Ability to perform QC on models and conduct sensitivity analyses.
- Understanding of economic and risk assessment methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Professional designation preferred.
