What You Will Do:

  • Customer Research Programs : Lead customer research engagements from kickoff through insight delivery. You’ll work with customers to translate business questions into research studies and ensure every project produces meaningful insight.
  • Research Strategy & Consulting: Act as a strategic advisor to customers running research across the full funnel — from brand awareness and message testing to competitive intelligence and customer experience insights.
  • Client Relationships: Own relationships with customer stakeholders and become their trusted partner for understanding markets, audiences, and buyer behavior.
  • Insights & Storytelling: Turn research results into clear, compelling insights. You’ll synthesize findings and present narratives that help marketing, product, and strategy leaders make confident decisions.
  • Project Delivery: Coordinate with internal team members executing research workflows to ensure projects move quickly and maintain a high bar for quality.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with junior team members supporting research execution. You’ll help guide projects, unblock workstreams, and ensure customers have a great experience.
  • Customer Insight → Product Feedback Because you’re close to both research and customers, you’ll surface patterns and feedback that help improve Gather’s research engine and product capabilities.

What You Bring

  • 4+ years in roles such as: 
  • Market Researcher, Insights Manager, Research Consultant, Consumer Insights Manager, strategy or insights roles at research agencies or consultancies.
  • Experience being responsible for customer or client outcomes, either through owning a book of business, managing individual relationships, or providing professional services
  • Experience designing and running market research or customer insights studies
  • Experience translating research findings into clear business insights and recommendations
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills with experience presenting insights to stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple research engagements simultaneously
  • Comfort working directly with marketing, product, and strategy leaders
  • A bias toward action and comfort operating in a fast-moving startup environment
  • Understanding and comfort with AI applications and AI-native software
