Job DescriptionRESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHCThe Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé (FRQS).
Position SummaryUnder the supervision of the principal investigator, the incumbent will contribute to the series of systematic reviews on sputum expectoration proportion, the exemplars and innovations in global health diagnostics project, and support other team projects.
General Duties
Contribute to a series of systematic reviews on topics relevant to the sputum expectoration proportion project (conduct literature searches, data extraction, data management, data analysis, etc.),
Help lead the exemplars project (conduct literature reviews, conduct key informant interviews, synthesize findings into comprehensive case studies, etc.),
Support the drafting and presentation of the projects’ deliverables,
Assist project team in coordinating with project collaborators, partners and stakeholders,
Contribute to other team projects, as required by the principal investigator.

Education / Experience
Education: Master’s Degree
Field of Study: Health sciences
Other education considered an asset for this position: MSc in Global/Public Health
Work Experience: At least 2 years of work experience in health research
Required Skills
Excellent English, spoken and written (knowledge of other languages is an asset),
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision,
Attention to details and accuracy,
Knowledge of systematic review and data analysis software/applications, including but not limited to Covidence or similar, R or Stata,
In addition to quantitative research methods, knowledge of qualitative research methods is an asset.

Temporary, part time
Pay Scale:
$48,503 to $90,090 Commensurate with education and experience
Work Shift:
2 days per week, day time
Work Site:
Hybrid, Dowtown Montreal
