Location- This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person. On-site work takes place at North Campus, Edmonton.

Position Summary
The position assists Dr. Aminpour with activities necessary for the research of the Aminpour lab, including working on grant applications, working on projects, doing software programming, dealing with issues related to lab software and hardware resources, training lab members, monitoring lab accounts, setting up lab meetings, and other activities.
Duties
Working on grant applications which involves identifying relevant funding opportunities and keeping track of deadlines.
Working on lab projects; Reading literature and examining and testing published software code (on GitHub, etc).
Managing allocations and jobs on Digital Research Alliance of Canada clusters.
Managing the site license for the Molecular Operating Environment software.
Monitoring lab funding accounts by checking on eTRAC that the expenses reported on lab speed codes are correct; creating budgets for lab expenses.
Assisting Dr. Arminpour with creating course materials and setting up content on eClass.
Qualifications
