Job Overview The R&D Electrical position is responsible for design, plan, research, evaluate and test the electrical components. This position will be located at our growing manufacturing plant, located in Stoney Creek, ON.

Research and development
Conceptualization and design
Prototyping
and testing
Electrical systems design and execution
Regulatory compliance
and approvals for electric heating appliances
Electrical control and connection interface design
Collaboration
and
communication
Specific Tasks Assume engineering responsibility for all electrical product lines
Conduct
in-depth research
on the latest trends, technologies, and advancements Collaborate with
cross-functional teams
to identify market needs and opportunities for
innovation
Develop conceptual designs and technical specifications for new products
Utilize simulation tools and software to model and optimize electrical circuits and systems
Lead the
prototyping
efforts, working
hands-on
with the team to bring concepts to life Execute rigorous testing of prototypes, analyze results, and iterate designs for performance improvement
Design and develop electrical systems, circuits, and control algorithms Document electrical schematics and control ladder diagrams and logic
Collaborate with engineers to integrate electrical components seamlessly into the overall product design
Ensure that all designs and products comply with relevant industry standards and regulations
Work closely with regulatory bodies to facilitate products certification approvals
Collaborate effectively with
cross-functional teams
, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and the product manager
Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to marketing personnel and other non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications &
Education
Requirements
degree in electrical engineering or related field experience in the research and design of electrical systems, with a focus on infrared heating equipment in CAD software for electrical design and simulation understanding of control systems, wiring and connections, and power electronics with
prototyping
and testing methodologies experience with field and appliance electrical wiringof industry approval standards and regulatory requirements for electrical appliance products and their application problem-solving and analytical skills communication and
