Position Overview
As a Remote/Telehealth BCBA, you will oversee a caseload that may include a combination of:
- Parent-led consultation cases
- 2-tier service delivery models
- 3-tier service delivery models
Caseload composition will vary based on clinical need, funding source requirements, and clinician preference. This position offers flexibility while maintaining a strong emphasis on quality care, collaboration, and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized treatment plans and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Provide clinical oversight and supervision for Behavior Technicians, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and Program Supervisors
- Monitor treatment effectiveness and make data-based clinical decisions
- Conduct parent training and caregiver coaching to promote generalization and long-term success
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers, educators, and family members
- Review clinical documentation to ensure compliance with funding source and company requirements
- Assist with treatment authorizations, treatment planning, progress reports, and reauthorizations
- Participate in Clinical Team Meetings and case consultations
- Support staff development through coaching, mentorship, and clinical feedback
- Maintain ethical and professional standards consistent with BACB guidelines
- Stay current with best practices through continuing education and professional development
Qualifications
- Active BCBA certification in good standing
- Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of ABA clinical experience preferred
- Experience supervising staff and providing caregiver training
- Strong clinical writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience working with autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities
- Comfortable using technology including Central Reach, telehealth platforms, and electronic medical records
