The Opportunity
We are currently expanding our remote faculty and are seeking high-caliber educators for the following subjects:
- Mathematics: Foundational Numeracy (Grade 3+) to Advanced Functions & Calculus.
- Chemistry: General Science foundations to Grade 11/12 and University Prep.
- Physics: STEM interest building to Grade 11/12 Mechanics and Quantum Theory.
- Biology: Life Sciences, Anatomy, and Genetics.
- General Science: Engaging, hands-on digital instruction for Elementary and Middle School.
Key Responsibilities
- Elite Instruction: Deliver high-impact, 1-on-1 virtual lessons tailored to the Ontario Curriculum (Grades 3–12).
- Adaptive Lesson Design: Evaluate individual learning gaps and curate bespoke resources that move beyond standard textbook limitations.
- Digital Engagement: Facilitate interactive sessions using modern tools (Zoom, digital whiteboards, and interactive software) to keep students motivated remotely.
- Strategic Growth Tracking: Monitor student performance and provide actionable feedback to ensure "meteoric" academic progress and increased confidence.
Who You Are
- Educated: A Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field (Mathematics, Science, Engineering, Education, or related STEM/Humanities field) is required.
- Versatile: Proven experience teaching or tutoring. Candidates must be comfortable working with students from Grade 3 through Grade 12.
- Engaging: You must be energetic on camera! We need tutors who can make complex topics approachable and keep students inspired through a screen.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in online teaching platforms and able to troubleshoot basic technical issues independently.
- Flexible: Ability to accommodate student needs (evenings and/or weekends are often required).
