Signature Retail Services is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remodel Fixture Installer – Team Lead to join our dynamic construction team. This pivotal role involves overseeing and executing the installation of fixtures during remodeling projects, ensuring quality workmanship, adherence to safety standards, and timely completion. This position requires the ability to travel throughout the West-Coast region to complete in-store remodels for retailers such as Lowe’s, The Home Depot and Do It Best. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in fixture installation along with strong leadership capabilities to guide and coordinate a team of installers. Key responsibilities include managing installation crews, interpreting blueprints and schematics, coordinating with project managers, and ensuring all fixtures are installed accurately and efficiently. Position Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of fixture installers on retail remodeling projects, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to facilitate accurate fixture placement.
- Read and execute to planogram to maintain client standards.
- Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment necessary for fixture installation across diverse construction environments.
- Coordinate with project managers, team members, and store teams to ensure project requirements are met precisely.
- Conduct inspections to verify proper installation techniques and compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage material procurement, verify inventory levels, and ensure proper handling of fixtures such as cabinetry, glass panels, doors, trim carpentry elements, and specialty fixtures.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices for fixture installation, merchandising, steel racking and gondola maintenance.
- Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular site inspections.
- Document progress through detailed reports for project management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Proof of a Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance coverage.
- Ability to travel within your state and neighboring states to project locations, up to 6 hours from your home location.
- Access to a personal vehicle and a smartphone with internet access, voice, and text capabilities for in-store reporting functions.
- 2+ Years of Team Lead or Supervisory experience in a Fixture Installation or remodel position. Experience in big-box stores such as Home Depot, Lowes, ACE Hardware is a Plus!
- Experience setting products to planogram, reading blueprints, signage installation, building displays, placing price labels, and conducting daily progress reports.
- Possess a personable and friendly demeanor with clients, customers, and team members at all times.
- This position involves duties such as lifting, bending, stooping, sitting, standing, walking, and safely climbing ladders, and regular lifting of 60+ lbs without assistance throughout the shift.
