Enhance plant performance as a Reliability Engineer. Provide engineering support to maximize equipment reliability and develop programs ensuring optimal plant uptime and safety.
This role involves supporting the Kirby and Jackfish Thermal Facilities team. You will track performance metrics, develop predictive and preventive maintenance strategies, and lead root cause analyses of equipment failures. Engage with diverse teams to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement while mentoring Engineers in the EIT Development Program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide engineering support for rotating equipment reliability
• Develop and optimize predictive maintenance programs
• Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations
• Monitor equipment operational issues to prevent reoccurring failures
• Create and implement MOC packages for upgrades
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering preferred
• 5+ years industry experience, 2+ in operating facilities
• Continuous improvement mindset with Lean Six Sigma certification
• Proficient with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
