Join Canadian Natural as a Reliability Engineer in Jackfish/Kirby, Alberta, working 4 x 3, 10-hour shifts. Leverage your engineering skills to enhance plant safety and operational efficiency.
Reporting to Engineering Leads, you will be vital in maximizing the reliability of rotating equipment at our thermal facilities. This role requires developing predictive maintenance programs, conducting root cause analyses, and monitoring equipment performance. To thrive, you should possess excellent problem-solving abilities and continuous improvement mindset, supported by your experience in CMMS systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide daily engineering support for rotating equipment reliability
• Develop and monitor predictive maintenance programs
• Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis for equipment issues
• Optimize preventative maintenance initiatives for continuous improvement
• Create MOC packages implementing reliability upgrades
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience
• 2+ years of operational facility experience
• Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
• Strong analytical and communication skills
